A letter from Elizabeth...

Barrette Buddies,

As a valued friend of the brand, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude, share my plan for the company, and offer you something special as a thanks for all your support.

As some of you may know, the barrettes have been the “side hustle” to my public relations business for some time. Last spring I launched Domino Media Group, a creatively driven PR and consulting firm that specializes in the growth of leading and emerging fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands around the Southeast. I’m a firm believer that access to the right tools—and the most connected team—create a Domino effect for your brand. Domino is in the process of offering creative companies resources to generate and build their own buzz, and works daily as a tactical partner to the businesses under our umbrella by providing fresh, out-of-the-box strategies to successfully generate a national presence.

There is nothing more rewarding than developing a dream into a reality, and I'm excited to be experiencing the empowerment of entrepreneurship firsthand. Since the launch of Elizabeth Heard, we’ve sold close to 8,000 hair accessories, graced the retail spaces of close to 70 retailers nationwide, have been featured on outlets such from Teen Vogue to Instyle along with special segments on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and even HBO GIRLS.

Now that my businesses are merging under one umbrella as a media holding entity, I will be moving away from the barrettes to focus on helping others achieve similar results. Do you have a dream? An idea? I’m telling you, the hardest part is just starting, and there’s no time like the present.

The trust that you—our consumers, cheerleaders, friends, and family—have placed in this brand every day has been such a blessing, so it’s a priority to keep you in the loop. Starting March 1st, the barrettes will only be available exclusively through our retail partners (please find a full & updated list HERE).

Until then, we will be offering an online discount of 40% off styles with code "letsdothis" while supplies last. Afterwards, the website will remain live as a reference guide to our barrette styles and as a hosting ground for occasional “flash sales” on items that I think you’ll enjoy from unique third party retailers around the globe.
